Congrats to TCHS English teacher, Darcey Voyles, who was awarded the Horace Mann Crystal Apple for being named the Teacher of the Quarter for the 3rd quarter. Colleagues had this to say about Ms. Voyles:
-She's a great example of professionalism.
-She builds relationships, meets students where they are, and sets them up to excel.
-She has a unique ability to hold students to a high standard and helps them reach their highest potential.
-She passionately cares for students.
-Walk into her classroom and you can tell she genuinely loves her subject material.

Thank you to TCHS senior Brayden Gough for his work all school year long as our News-Gazette High School Confidential writer. Each week, he submits a photo and brief write-up of exciting activities going on at TCHS which are then printed in the News-Gazette. Brayden was recently awarded certificates of appreciation from the News-Gazette and from Danville Area Community College for his efforts.

Thank you to the EP Student Council for a successful fundraiser. $400 was donated to the animal shelter. Thank you to all the teachers who participated.

Thank you to Illinois State Comptroller Susana Mendoza for recognizing our Illinois State Scholars. Graduating seniors are named Illinois State Scholars based on exceptional SAT scores and class rank. Approximately 10% of seniors in Illinois earn the distinction. Pictured from left to right are:
